The Legends of the LPGA is the official senior tour of the LPGA featuring professionals and eligible amateurs age 45 and over. From July 18-24 seventy-two of some of the most sought after female players in golf competed in the 2022 Senior LPGA Championship at Salina Country Club.
Since its inception, the Senior Championship has raised nearly $24 million for charities across America. This year the event will be playing for the Love, Chloe Foundation, a local non-profit that works to provide hope for families facing a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Karrie Webb solidified her first victory of the Legends Tour by only four strokes and finished the week 14-under. In addition, Webb also had an eagle of her own on No. 14 to go along with six birdies making for an exciting competition. As a World Golf Hall of Famer and with 41 wins on the LPGA tour, it’s no surprise Karrie Webb was victorious.
